Surprise, Surprise, Surprise. . .

December 12th, 2011

Daddy was awake already at 2:30 a.m.getting ready for work when I heard Mommy come out and say “Honey, I think I am cramping.”  Well daddy said, “Hmmm, your balloon is still intact lets just see what happens.”  Each 15 minutes for the next hour I heard mommy moan very loudly.  Was I the one hurting mommy?  Well, I didn’t give it too much thought because as far as I was concerned I wanted to see the light and say hello to my mommy and daddy.  Well, about 5 a.m. I was knocking on the door telling it to let me out and I heard daddy shuffling around and mommy was scurring somewhere with a loud bang.  Later on I was to learn daddy was rushing mommy to the hospital which was 45 minutes away from where we live.  Daddy was speeding, trying not to break the law but mommy was sure hollaring and each hollar daddy would move the car that much faster.  Daddy was also calling his work, and I heard him explain, ” I cant really talk he stated his name and said he would be out of work today and to please understand he was speeding down the hi-way getting ready to have a baby.”  We Finally arrived to St Lukes Hospital.

Daddy, rushed into the Hospital and got a wheel chair, actually daddy forgot the wheel chair and had to go back and get it.  He then rushed mommy into the hospital and asked one of the attendants to rush her up to maternity ward because he still had to go and park the car and get my brother.

hehe, here’s my surprise–especially for my daddy.

Daddy went to park the car, and then brought my brother upstairs with him to the maternity ward and they led him the way swiftly.  The news was out, I got to see the light, visit with mommy but then they took me away.  Daddy asked where mommy was and they brought him into the delivery room and then in a gigglish manner said congratulations Daddy you had a baby boy.  See, When they brought mommy upstairs, I continued to knock and the door finally opened.  I was on my way when they were wheeling her to the delivery room.  In No time, faster than daddy could park the car I came into this wonderful world.  There was so much commotion going on though and they let me see mommy but then someone took me away before daddy could see me.
